Johansen Sound Therapist
Camilla Leslie trained with Dr. Kjeld Johansen in 1994 and continues to work closely with him. She regularly uses Johansen Sound Therapy in her Speech and Language Therapy work with children and adolescents.

As the UK National Director for Johansen Sound Therapy Camilla is responsible for organising training and continuing professional development. She is also the UK consultant for Johansen Sound Therapy providing back-up advice and guidance for therapists trained in JST. Camilla also makes the CDs for many of the UK Sound Therapists.

Speech and Language Therapist
Camilla is a speech and language therapist working independently in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has considerable experience of working with children who have spoken and/or written language difficulties (dyslexia) and auditory processing difficulties. She regularly uses JST as a therapy tool in her work with children with speech and language difficulties.

 

Dr. Kjeld Johansen PhD
Director Baltic Dyslexia Research Laboratory

Dr. Kjeld Johansen has developed Johansen Sound Therapy (known as Hemisphere Specific Auditory Stimulation (HSAS) in the USA and Auditory Discrimination Training (ADT) in Scandinavia) over the past 35 years.

With a teaching background in mathematics, physics and learning support, Dr. Johansen has worked with large numbers of children using his therapy techniques. He travels extensively, lecturing on subjects related to auditory processing and training therapists in Johansen Sound Therapy in the UK, the USA and Europe.
